63

Wow, its been a while. Mostly due to the fact that I haven't had a decent dream in a long time. I'm in a rut or "slumping" as they say in baseball terms. Don't worry though I got a good one. Here we go.

This was one of those dreams that was creepy but in a good way, if that makes sense.

June 18th.

-I was in a van with my friend Jeff and my cousin Jeff. (Funny how that happened.) Cousin Jeff was driving and me and Friend Jeff were in the middle row of this van. The van was a dull orange color and resembled a 70's style VW van. You know, the old hippy vans. Anyway, the dream began with us pulling next to a creepy old abandoned house. It was dusk outside which added to the creepy factor. Cousin Jeff had told us that his uncle used to live here and that he had some super secret that only Jeff could see. So he told me and Friend Jeff to wait in the van.

This van had so much junk in it that it looked like a homeless person was trying to live out of it. Myself and Friend Jeff had found a flashlight that looked really bizarre. If you pictured a Maglite, it would be about double the size of that. Here's the kicker. This flashlight had a wire coming out of it that connected to a grill or some sort of hotplate in the van. So basically you could use this flashlight to shed some light on something or cook yourself a meal.

Cousin Jeff had rushed back and he began talking really fast with a sense of anxiety and eagerness. By this time, me and Friend Jeff had somehow knew that Cousin Jeff was basically the male equivalent to Lara Croft, he was a big time treasure hunter.

Next thing I knew, we had pulled up to downtown Santa Cruz, only there was a giant gate blocking it off and rubble was everywhere as if it were bombed out. The three of us went down a set of stairs that a huge bouncer had been guarding. He was offensive lineman sized. Scary.

Cousin Jeff showed this guy what he had gotten from his uncle's house and then lead myself and Friend Jeff through a wooden door and into a dark cave.

This is where things get weird(er)

In this cave was another wooden door. Cousin Jeff was extremely talkative at this point and I couldn't keep up with his excitement. Beyond this door, in this dark, bare cave, was a room that was just big enough to have a bed. In fact, all that was there was wooden walls, floors and a nicely made bed. On the other side of the room was a door. We followed Cousin Jeff through this door and came into...another room that had a bed, only this time it was in a different position. We found another door and sure enough there was another room with another bed laid out in a different position. That's when I woke up.

Not the weirdest dream I've had, but for some reason, it really stuck in my head all day. It was so vivid.
